Sorbet SK-N

Sorbet is proud to launch Sorbet SK-N, an elegant exclusive salon that offers premium skin treatments for tired, ageing or damaged skin. The first Sorbet SK-N has opened at Hyde Park Corner in Johannesburg and this concept will be tested and perfected with a view to franchising in order to serve a wider audience. Sorbet SK-N specialises in advanced cosmetic treatments with proven, rapid and significant results. Sorbet SK-N uses trusted formulas and technology from globally recognised brands such as Exuviance, Visia and Dr. Schrammek. A variety of peels, botox and hair-removal treatments are on the Sorbet SK-N menu, as are Dermapen applications and laser technology.


Rudi Rudolph Sorbet Group CEO

Rudi was appointed CEO of the Sorbet Group in 2018, having begun as a consultant to the business when it started in 2005.

Rudi joined Sorbet on a more permanent basis in 2007 to head up Franchising and Operations. Rudi’s knowledge and expertise on retailing and store development led him to subsequently being appointed as Group COO. During this time the Sorbet business grew to over 200 salons throughout the country.

New Sportsmans Warehouse opens

Ready, set, Eastgate! May saw the opening of the 44th Sportsmans store, in the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Johannesburg.

With big names like Stuart Baxter and Lucas Radebe attending the opening and with a R10 000 giveaway, the store took off at full speed. The team worked around the clock to ensure that every last detail was taken care of, delivering another podium finish for the Sportsmans Team.

Speedo makes a splash

Performance Brands is excited to announce it's been awarded the distribution rights to the Speedo brand in southern Africa from January 2020.

Sorbet has introduced a new, exciting and exclusive skin-care brand: 365 Skin Workout.

Hailing from the skin galleries of Barcelona, 365 Skin Workout is South Africa’s premiere fitness-first skincare range. The range is divided into the four stages of any given workout: Warm Up, Cardio, Strength Training and Cool Down. Guests can also have their skin analysed with a supersonic skin scanner – a game changer which quickly detects UV damage, cellular activity, wrinkle depth, hydration levels and a whole lot more. 365 retail products will be available from July 2019 at all Sorbet Salons nationwide.
